I'm a software engineer at IMC Trading in Chicago. I received my M.S. (2026) and B.S. (Honors, 2025) in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin, where I was advised by Prof. David Wu.
I'm primarily interested in systems performance — including in cryptography, operating systems, distributed systems, and ML inference.

- 2026From Lattices to Tensor Cores: Accelerating Private Information Retrieval. Sidaarth Sabhnani, David J. Wu. Cryptology ePrint Archive, Report 2026/1816.SandwichPIR is the first single-server PIR protocol to run the bulk of the server computation as 8-bit integer matrix multiplications on GPU tensor cores, with no offline communication. It answers a query to a 4 GB database in 8.2 ms — 488 GB/s, 88× faster than the best CPU protocol without offline communication. Batching 128 queries reaches an effective ~24 TB/s on one L40S and nearly 270 TB/s across 8 GPUs on a 256 GB database, and serves private access to English Wikipedia at >2,500 queries per second on a single GPU.
